What I Did Last Summer.

Okay. I’m back to blogging! I haven’t updated my blog with sensical plots, for like, two weeks. The last time I posted here, I promised to return with a new layout. And here it is: entries with a Livejournal look, complete with icons. Thank you, Photobucket!

This is kinda stupid to say but summer is over in 10 days. I thought of breaking down all of the best and worst things that happened this vacation before going to junior high. Oh, this might be my last carefree summer for the meantime since I might take review classes for UPCAT next school year. Dad said I have to prepare early. If I ever get to pass UP next year, I’ll be the first in the family to do so. And no one can ever break the tradition again. So here it goes:

What I Did Last Summer (In Not Less Than A Hundred Words)

This summer before junior high, I did the craziest things and experienced the most cherishable moments. Writing an essay might be long and wordy, so I decided to make a list….and its descriptions.

1. I made my own site layout. Better check out my Multiply (go to my Profile section in this blog) and see for yourself. A few months back, I told myself that I will make one. And making your layout is not a joke. You have to edit everything, from the background to the font colors.

2. I learned how to walk every weekday morning, do sit-ups, and lift weights. Read my past blog entries about the exercise program Dad initiated for me. Results? I lost five (five!) inches off my waistline, lost eight pounds, and gained more muscle. Success! Plus. I became more active when it comes to my fitness.

3. I became obsessed with watching WWE again! Two words: Cody. Rhodes. I watch RAW because of him. I don’t care if he’s a villain or he’s one of the Legacy members. Okay, hott is a little overstated. Joking! The best word to describe him. (BTW, that was him in the icon labeled “Smirk”, which I made).

4. Cook, cook, cook! What can I say?

5. No swimming in beaches, but at least I and mom spent a day in Greenhills one April weekend! Just love it to death. Lots of stores and pretty shirts that you can’t find anywher in other malls!

6. Marathons of The Simpsons! Right now, I’m watching the Season 19 DVD. I really get LSSed in Season 12 Ep. 14’s Party Posse episode in which it features the song “Drop Da Bomb”. I even have that song on my PSP right now, with the crazy chorus “Yvan eth nioj”! Can’t understand the real title? Just spell the phrase backwards.

So far, I really enjoyed my summer. Better prepare for the last 10 days before I go back to school!

III-3!

I’ll just keep this blog entry short. I just learned I’ve been resectioned to III-3 (St. Claire) during the enrollment. Another opportunity for new friends and less judgments. Most of all, give my best shot since junior year is a basis for college applications. One year more and I’m a senior. Say to myself and keep this in mind: III-3 will make me happy. I’ll see this for myself for the next two years. :))

I Lost A Whopping.....

Yesterday was definitely the biggest shock of my life so far. Sort of.

Every Monday since the first time I started walking daily and working out 2-3 times a week, I and my tito would go to the nearest health center to have a weigh-in. For the first three times I stepped my foot on the scale, my weight will be either steady or gain. But yesterday, I just got a very good response.

I LOST A WHOPPING EIGHT POUNDS AND THREE AND ½ INCHES OFF MY WAISTLINE!

From about 116-118 lbs. I’ve gone down to only 108. My waistline is now just 26-27 inches. Achievement!

100TH POST!

THE CANDYDOLL HAS FINALLY REACHED ITS 100TH POST!

I would like to take time to thank all blogfriends and viewers of my blog. It wouldn’t be possible without your help. I appreciate every visitor here, whether you view it for an hour or just a minute. Keep on making the visits! :)

Being a wrestling fan for five years already, I am viewing The Legacy’s appreciation thread over the WWE Universe forums. In one of my recent posts, I told you already about Cody (oh yes,). If he’s my favorite member of The Legacy/Team Priceless, then I’m going to reveal right now who I hate.

Obviously, the one with the words written “Loser” is my least favorite and well….the least hot. (Sorry Ted fans!) DiBiase is fit to join the stable because he’s a third-gen Superstar. But it annoys me he gets a bigger push than Cody has. I have to admit I would cheer in my mind whenever he loses or gets beaten up. And most of all, I don’t find him hot nor cute. Orton (the current WWE Champ and the good-looking guy in the middle) and Cody are fine with me.

I was laughing when I redid this photo on Paint. I would want to add mustaches on DiBiase, but I decided to be against it.

One post!

ONE POST TO GO!

It is really great to know that my blog is one post to go before THE 100TH! To be honest, this should have happened two months ago, back at my blog’s first birthday. But since I was either too lazy to update or have nothing to write about. I would update my blog after two weeks or make some senseless posts. I am so happy about it! I finally made to the point I gained an achievement in maintaining an online journal and making sure it gets updated at least once or twice a week. Whether my stories are cheery or glum. Just remember, I will never make my precious blog dull.

Have I told you I have one very loyal reader? It’s none other than the big man in Singapore, my dad. He is my best critic when it comes to writing my blog entries. He will text or IM me about what he read and what can he say. I guess he’ll be proud to know that I am recognizing him as the #1 fan of my blog. He tells me if I misspelled some words wrong or had incorrect grammar in my posts. I will always know I should be somewhat discreet with what I write here because Dad reads it in his free time.

I usually don’t watch Gossip Girl on ETC because the episodes are aired late already but I had a great time watching my favorite show last night. I really liked the Chuck/Blair moment near the ending when Chuck is in the rooftop and acting like he’s going to commit suicide while “linedancing”, drunk and high. He exclaims, “I’m Chuck Bass!” and thinks no one cares about him. But Blair says some sweet words that she cares for him. Awwww! So what happened? Chuck came down. I better watch GG every Tuesday. Can’t wait to get the complete Season 2 DVD!

I just updated my Plurk a while ago, saying I’m worried about mom’s brother and dad. Yes, I am right now. You see, mom’s brother had a fever for four straight days and Lolo wobbles to the side when he walks. Then there is his severe dizziness, too. We, especially my Lola, are worried about their health and we always pray every night that all of these are nothing serious. I just pray that they may have a full and fast recovery so the worries will disappear.

I know this is irrelevant to mention, but in a week I’ll be meeting my new section. I guess this is high time for me to erase all judgements in the past and have new friends. Stop thinking about my reputation, for one reason too. Hmmm…..who will be new classmates? Hello, III-?. :)

WTHH????

They should have put more effort to the Cook/Archuleta concert poster. My mom wants to see this, but I haven’t heard of the ticket prices yet. They should have put a little description about the Davids. Like “American Idols”, perhaps?

Helllo....

This is weird. Blogspot isn’t working this afternoon when I was about to post. Finally, I got to access the “Create Post” section once again! I just noticed I last posted an entry almost two weeks ago. Right now, I’m chatting with Dad and talking about everything. Last week, I had gym for only two days, on Monday and on Thursday. Why? I just have to say the week before wasn’t a very good time to do my exercising.

Last week, my uncle was acting like a drill sergeant. Last Saturday, he made me jog a very long distance, from Earnshaw St. to Pampanga. I was exhausted from running more than approximately two meters. Before that, walks were quiet and he made me run until he says stop. It was dull. Then last Monday, it was high time to have bad thoughts running into my mind. While working out with my uncle’s gym equipment, I wasn’t in the mood to work out. He was yelling at me for not straightening my hold of the barbell. When I came home that day, I suffered body aches. On Tuesday and Wednesday, I skipped walking and workouts because of my condition. But on Wednesday, my uncle apologized for the way he acted lately. So for the following days but the weekend, everything went fine again.

I guess I have a lot to think for the next 12 days. On the 15th, I’ll get to know my new set of classmates. New faces, new section. Same old Can. And I should be happy with whatever the outcome will be.
