I don't wanna pretend so this is the end of you and me
The next time I’ll go to Greenhills, I’ll beg my mom to buy me this shirt below. I already have the Little Miss Theresian one in blue.

Friendster is so 2006. Multiply is so last year.
I’m currently addicted to Facebook and Twitter. Guess when did I make one? This afternoon.
After sending an offline message to Dad (my favorite chatting buddy), I thought of joining FB since there are so many people using it these days. Whenever I visit my MP contacts’ sites, they would write on their welcome pages that FB is better. So what I did is to sign up that noon. Then Twitter came soon afterwards. So right now while having a good old chat with Dad, I’m playing the apps and updating my status.
You can follow me at: http://twitter.com/dollgoddess
It’s just too bad that I don’t have a Facebook URL yet. Anyways, I’m still thinking of a good one since you can’t change it anymore. Myspace-like, eh? To tell you the truth, Multiply really is getting lamer. All you have to do is post and comment and that’s it. No apps, no bulletin board. In other words, at first it’s fun. However, you’ll get bored after six months. The good thing about there is you can post an unlimited number of photos, videos, and blog entries. I still enjoy using the site but I find it overrated these days. It’s always in the magazines and on TV, trying to make it look as the “best” website to use. Thanks to Facebook, the hype is slowly dying down.
Everybody’s like saying “MP is getting lamer” or “Use FB, it’s way better” in recent times. Only about six months ago, everyone’s crazy about it. Trends are like that. For a few months it’s hot but after a while it’s out. Fashion is an example.
Right now, I’m playing Pet Society. I’m addicted to this app!

My life would always suck without you
This week has been fun and stressful at the same time. Junior year is becoming a pressure to me. I have to print handouts almost every night for our discussions, think if I’m doing well in school, and attend to Theresian staff meetings at lunch break. So much for my social life. At least the bright side of this year is that I have wonderful classmates and enjoyable dismissal times. For the past two Mondays, I would be with my busmates for a dine-in in McDo. Guess what I’ll always order? Coke Float, my absolute McDo favorite. Yum!
Last Sunday, my cousins came and I had a great time with them. The custard cake from Goldilocks was mouth-watering and Selecta Gold Choco ice cream was soooooo satisfying. I took photos again like always. Here are some:
Abby and Candi. :)
Reese!! XD
Kiss me baby and then I die. Bwahahahaha!!! :))))))
“He’s not a celebrity. She’s not a Theresian. He is my father!”
Then my English teacher praised my work. Hey Dad, if you are reading this, congratulations for your promotion! You did a job well done! :)

Play Hard, Work Harder.
School is stressing me. Seriously. Lots of assignments, quizzes, and reports to do.
That’s what you call junior year. It sucks to have so much to do.

Candice The News Writer???
As I mentioned in my last blog post, I passed Theresian Magazine. My biggest and best opporunity to arrive on my door in a while. It was a sunny Wednesday morning, recess time, when I received the good news. It was PALIHAN day which I enjoyed so much, aside from watching Horton and dancing with my classmates to MJ songs. In fact, one of my schoolmates joked me about my dancing talent. I told her it was “hidden”.
Now back to Theresian Mag. That morning, the editor-in-chief of the school paper announced over the AP system that the results are posted outside the Publication Room. I was nervous and I was hoping I made it. So at recess time, I read the list. Voila, I got in as writer for the news section. Yay! While I read the results, I started to look back at my previous two auditions for the mag, back in Grade 5 and 6.
Back in Grade 5, I made it to the first screening although it was tough because the teachers are the ones who’ll select the passers for the second cut. During the second cut, there were so many students in the Primary Music Room, hoping for a chance to write for the school publication. The task? An essay about caring for the environment. I gave it my all, using vocabulary words to perfect my piece. Days later, I didn’t make the cut. So I tried again next year. However, our English teacher chose only one student who’ll move on to the second screening. Not me. Did I try out next year? Nope. I just rested for two years.
In sophomore year, I started thinking of joining Theresian Magazine once again but was withheld because Dulaang Pinoy held tryouts the same day of the screenings. I was forced to make the decision to audition in DP, which I didn’t pass. See, 2008 was bad for me? I was really negative that time, since I didn’t pass DP yet in COC although I could see with the editors’ looks that they’ve enjoyed interviewing me. So I focused on some other things. Then this year, everything came to a head. My failures have gone underway, reversing it to successes. Not only I was given a chance to audition for Dulaan and Theresian Mag at the same day, but also I made it to both.
There is only one thing left to be accomplished: be part of COC 10. I just hope I make it this time. Today, I changed my MP background again. Actually, it’s the second time since yesterday. I’ll show you some pics.
