They don't love you like I love you

I’ve been blogging miscellaneous things lately. I guess it’s because I have to make up for two weeks of un-blogging. Right now I want to tell you one thing I’ve been longing for a long time.

That’s right. I want to be class president.

Am I desperate to be a class officer? Certainly yes. It’ll feel like winning the jackpot if ever you were voted as one. Sigh. Being class president will give you lots of benefits; a guarantee that you’re liked by the whole class is one. The teachers will praise you for everything you do. Plus, a stairway to success. Honestly, the real reason why I wanted to be class president is because of benefit #1. I want to be liked by all of my classmates.

But you can’t please everyone, right? Sometimes I have that desire stuck in my head I forget I am a Theresian writer. I could always say, At least I work in Theresian Mag. So much for talent and college credential. Plus, being class president will take you lots of responsibility and headache. Now, off to better things.

I’m heading for Highway to Hell (like the AC/DC song) this week. Every single day of the week we have at least one long test. Radio presentation for MPAD will be up tomorrow. (Wish us luck!) Aside from that, I am not certain what the future will hold. So this weekend, I went online for long hours, updated my accounts, and sat here in the dark room blogging about random shizz. Speaking of random, I don’t have Macbook but I downloaded Photobooth on my desktop. How did I do it?

Google and YouTube.

Krispy Kreme

Behold what I ate last night: Krispy Kreme with its baby branch in SM San Lazaro! I wanted to spice up my blog with my food tripping that’s why I took this pic. I have to say that it’s wayyyy better than Gonuts Donuts. I and my mom bought two donuts yesterday: Hershey’s Cookies and Cream and another one which I forgot the name.

It’s official: I love Krispy Kreme.

We hear the playback and it seems so long ago

Two weeks has passed since I blogged here. It seems like a lot has changed in the cyberworld. I’ll give you two valid reasons why I haven’t been online lately - schoolwork and Dad in the Philippines. I looked at my blog yesterday with the last post dated two weeks ago. This has been the longest time I’ve ever been on a blogging hiatus. With Heck Yeah Candydoll turning two this March 14, I have to make up for the lost times. Seems pathetic to you, huh?

Let me tell you what happened in the two weeks of my inactivity.

February 5 was Bandfest Day in STC QC! I really had a great time with my friends and their companions. It was way better than the last Bandfest I attended in 2008. Aside from a great outfit chosen by my mom, I was with my good friends and their cousins and sibs. My friends from the Fourth Year were shocked to see me wearing some sexy (as the people described me that night) clothes including my classmates. Even the teachers went like whoa seeing me running in wedges. The band and dance performance were brilliant although I didn’t watch ¾ of the concert because I was in Gate 3, picture-taking with my friends. A few days later I checked Katt’s Facebook account and there were the memories to last a lifetime.

One week later, there were two things happened that day: Personnel’s Day and Dad’s arrival for his 9-day vacation. I mentioned a lot of times about our Dulaan after-school rehearsals, right? February 12 was the big performance day. When I appeared onstage, everyone was looking at my dress but I focused on my acting. It was a success. So through the whole day, my classmates and teachers talked about how much I transformed.

When I came home from school that afternoon, Dad was at home. He gave me new earphones for my PSP coming all the way from Singapore. The next day, I got my best birthday gift (supposedly given on January 20) and it was a new phone I die for. No, I’m not talking about my dream phone Nokia 5730. I almost got the 5630 one but my parents preferred a 5530 instead. I’m enjoying my first OFFICIAL phone right now and I am so thankful for Dad.

Last Friday, we ate at Cajun and I have to say this restaurant has a fine lineup of
delicacies. Better try their Chicken Alfredo with the Cajun rice - it’s definitely worth the meal. I tried WiFi at Robinsons Midtown and it failed! At least I could Twitter on my phone anyway. Last night I was at my Lola Glo’s house in my room, camwhoring. I fell asleep and I woke up at 12 MN to watch RAW on TV5. Great episode, actually. But I miss Jack TV with the full-length episodes and PPVs! Dad left the house at around 2 am. I slept at 4:30 AM after watching about 8 episodes of The Simpsons Season 3 DVD and eating my midnight breakfast. I woke up at 9 AM to Muse’s Supermassive Black Hole, dressed up and went to Tutuban to have brunch at Pizza Hut. The Roma pizza was great and so was the penne pasta!

Right now I am sitting in front of the computer, blogging and checking my Twitter, FB, and Tumblr. I uploaded three photo albums on my FB (add me up if you want to view them) covering the past week. Also, I accepted some friend requests from schoolmates, updated my status and changed my profile pic! I changed my Tumblr theme and Twitter background all the while.

Since my FB is for friends only, here is a preview of my photos to give you an idea:

I and my Dad in Cajun last Friday

Chicken Alfredo platter (I didn’t like the mojos, sadly.)

What a beautiful sunset! Shot on the car.

The Bandfest ‘10 Revolution Ticket

My Burger King Combo Meal before watching Dear John on Valentine’s Day (I recommend you to watch this romantic movie!)

And in the middle of the fun, I received some bad news:

MTV Philippines has been knocked off our television screens.

One reason why I decided to label this post from Buggles’ “Video Killed The Radio Star” song. It was the final video to air in MTV Philippines last Monday. I first heard of the news from my classmates a week before the legendary channel’s last broadcast. I thought it was just a joke but it wasn’t. I was saddened with the news because I grew up watching this station. Back when I was four years old, I would watch videos of popstars and heard songs I would only get to take notice of a few years later. My yaya would cook me Lucky Me! pancit canton for my baon in school while I watched the videos.

Too bad I didn’t get the chance to watch MTV on the day it ceased programming. Thanks to YouTube, however, I got the video of their last moments. Here it is and reminisce its memories:

Let The Good Times Roll

January 20, 2010. My 15 + 1 birthday celebration turned out to be simple but satisfying. I bugged my self to upload the pictures here as soon as possible since these are on Facebook already. So here they are!

Me and the Jollibee Choco Sundae
Proof that I ate on TGI Friday’s. The Jack Daniel platter I and my mom ate was very mouth-watering.

One of my favorite photos: I am with my reflection….in the taxi. =P
