Made Myself A New Layout.

I didn’t know that making a Multiply layout can be so hard. You have to edit the background and make the right codes. Yesterday, it took me almost two hours to make my new site layout. Finally, I’m finished! In fact, I posted the screenshot (contacts only) and the codes. If you’re my contact, you could PM me to use the layout. It’ll be all fine with me!

If you’re not one of my contacts, you can add me or just PM me for the codes. Here’s a sample screenshot:

I just changed my Plurk layout, courtest of PlurkLayouts.Com. It’s just too bad you’ll have to purchase the best layouts. Noooo! There was one cupcake-themed layout which I really love, but you have to purchase through PayPal for 4 pounds. WTH. I can’t believe it’s Monday tomorrow. I have to go back to school. I guess I’m half-excited for dismissal time. I don’t know why.

I heard it’s PALIHAN on Friday. Soooo excited for it! I don’t dare to face Wednesday - I’m too nervous to be a Music project leader. Deadline is on July 22. Songfest is coming up in December and we are considering eliminations up to the Final Two on December 7.

Hott Hott.

Two posts in one day. Wow.

My Gyllenhaalism is firing up as of this moment, since I’m currently viewing one of his fansites. I can’t wait to see all of his upcoming movies. Right now, I’m currently reading a post about Jake being Spiderman, if the role was given to him.

What a fine-looking Spiderman! Jake’s gonna look great as a superhero. :)

First Day of School!

I didn’t expect for my first week of school to be great. But IT WAS AWESOME.

Monday: I woke up at 4:45 AM, the usual time I wake up when I go to school. So here comes my breakfast and wearing the blouse with a red patch in it - for the first time. Then the school bus arrives. When I got to school and on my way to the classroom, I was nervous. The tension lost when I met my former classmates and complimented my new hairstyle. After a few minutes, our class was asked to go to the Covered Court for the welcome ceremonies. On recess, I had a fun time sharing about my vacation to my friends in our usual hangout during breaks, the bench in front of the Treasurer’s Office.

Fast forward to Filipino, which is our last period. I may have immediately liked my classmates with the good response I’ve got when I introduced myself. Since one of my friends was sitting in the front row, she mimicked my introduction. I laughed and so did my new classmates. It happened once more until I got it right.

Tuesday: Honestly, there was nothing special. Just more introductions and that’s it. But the highlight of the day was TLE class, where we were asked to share something we learned in the previous two years.

Wednesday: I got the shock of my life for two things: I was elected by my classmates to be a member of the Steering Committee for the Dance Pro in October, and I was chosen as group leader for the Music project this quarter. Good luck, Can!

Thursday: Went to the clinic because of stomachache and stayed there for an hour. In fact, I slept there. When I came back, everyone was asking where I’ve been. After lunch, we were in the Chemistry Lab to learn how to turn on and off the Bunsen Burner. It was hard at first but once you learn, you’ll enjoy it. Plus, I signed up for BakPackers, a SEG for those interested in travelling. Oh, and I’m considering joining Dulaang Pinoy……again.

During last week, I didn’t Plurk for three days. So my karma fell for the nth time. Finally, Multiply 4.0 was released sometime last Thursday, but I checked it on Friday midnight after a long nap. I don’t like the upgrade that much. However, the good thing about it is that I can post notes and make custom filters. But still, I want the old Inbox back.

It was Mom’s birthday and Independence Day yesterday! We just had a simple celebration by eating Aroma Fried Chicken for dinner and malling during the afternoon. Dad called us last night while we were eating dinner. He greeted Mom a happy birthday and I told him about the e-mail I sent on the same day. Dad joked about replying it on his iPhone. Too bad he’s not replying until now. But maybe he will this weekend.

Tomorrow It's Gonna Be A New Episode.

Tomorrow, I’m going to be in junior high.

Tomorrow, I’m officially a III-3er. (Hello, III-3!)

It’s just so bad that I won’t be classmates with most of my friends but at least with some acquaintances. For the first time in two years, I will be eating lunch with my friends who are in the other sections. I’m so nervous about tomorrow - new hairstyle, new classmates, new teacher, new classroom.

I just hope everything will work fine. :)

Can't Get This Any Better.

It’s been two months now since I cut my hair. Partially I liked it, but 60% not. Grrr. Why does my mom insist on chopping my locks off if I want to grow them out? Come on, I want to wear it in a half pony or in better days, a pigtail. Whenever I look at my pics with long hair, I always think I look prettier in it. But during one of our weekend chats with my old man (Dad), he said that I look better in it. I was also “fortunate” to still look pretty (?) even if I had a haircut that could rival to U.S. Army troops. And that some others look fabulously gorgeous with their long, flowing locks making people sigh with envy but become repellant when they cut them off, making them look like a man.

It’s the main reason why I’m not ready to go back to school. I wonder how will my friends react to my new hairdo. I wonder what will my new classmates say when they see me as their “surprise” student. Don’t get too excited, I tell them nor be disappointed. The first day of school is finally a Monday for the first time in my STC life since usually our opening is on a Wednesday. It will always be the same old things: line up, introduction of the TSC officers for the school year, the freshmen’s welcome ceremony that involves pinning their ties, and knowing who our class adviser is.

I just read some amazing news from Jakey G’s blog fansite Wet Dark and Wild: HE’S GONNA HAVE A MOVIE AGAIN! I am so pissed off for delaying the release of one of his movies and I hope Prince of Persia: Sands of Time will be moved from 2010 to late 2009. I just tell the distributors this: I wanna see my Jakey on the big screen! Another one: since one of next films is kind of Oscar-worthy (if ever), I just hope he gets nominated for Best Actor. And win.

Added more blogs to my bloglinks section. And I may want to change my layout once again, this time add the icons. Again.

Teentalking Again!

I’m back in Teentalk! I missed so much there. I haven’t been active there since March, I think. Right now, I am actively posting in the Friendship boards. I’m soooo glad to be back!

Five days from now I’ll be going back to school. I’m not quite ready yet, if you ask me. But at least I already have a very cool LeSportsac backpack, new shoes, and a new patch color - red. I’m not ready to go to school with my new haircut; I doubt there are many girls in school who’ll be sporting short hair. Okay, I admit that I hate my hair. With my hair so short, I cannot wear it in any style I like. The only things I can do is put on a headband and clip it on. That’s it.

I just hope I would have a very memorable first day of junior year. :)

What I Did Last Summer.

Okay. I’m back to blogging! I haven’t updated my blog with sensical plots, for like, two weeks. The last time I posted here, I promised to return with a new layout. And here it is: entries with a Livejournal look, complete with icons. Thank you, Photobucket!

This is kinda stupid to say but summer is over in 10 days. I thought of breaking down all of the best and worst things that happened this vacation before going to junior high. Oh, this might be my last carefree summer for the meantime since I might take review classes for UPCAT next school year. Dad said I have to prepare early. If I ever get to pass UP next year, I’ll be the first in the family to do so. And no one can ever break the tradition again. So here it goes:

What I Did Last Summer (In Not Less Than A Hundred Words)

This summer before junior high, I did the craziest things and experienced the most cherishable moments. Writing an essay might be long and wordy, so I decided to make a list….and its descriptions.

1. I made my own site layout. Better check out my Multiply (go to my Profile section in this blog) and see for yourself. A few months back, I told myself that I will make one. And making your layout is not a joke. You have to edit everything, from the background to the font colors.

2. I learned how to walk every weekday morning, do sit-ups, and lift weights. Read my past blog entries about the exercise program Dad initiated for me. Results? I lost five (five!) inches off my waistline, lost eight pounds, and gained more muscle. Success! Plus. I became more active when it comes to my fitness.

3. I became obsessed with watching WWE again! Two words: Cody. Rhodes. I watch RAW because of him. I don’t care if he’s a villain or he’s one of the Legacy members. Okay, hott is a little overstated. Joking! The best word to describe him. (BTW, that was him in the icon labeled “Smirk”, which I made).

4. Cook, cook, cook! What can I say?

5. No swimming in beaches, but at least I and mom spent a day in Greenhills one April weekend! Just love it to death. Lots of stores and pretty shirts that you can’t find anywher in other malls!

6. Marathons of The Simpsons! Right now, I’m watching the Season 19 DVD. I really get LSSed in Season 12 Ep. 14’s Party Posse episode in which it features the song “Drop Da Bomb”. I even have that song on my PSP right now, with the crazy chorus “Yvan eth nioj”! Can’t understand the real title? Just spell the phrase backwards.

So far, I really enjoyed my summer. Better prepare for the last 10 days before I go back to school!
