Officially on Vacation!

After 9 months of tiring late-night reviews, confusing surprise quizzes, school scandals and teacher mischiefs, finally we are free!

WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON VACATION!

No more schoolbooks, no more assignments! And as the popular saying goes, no more teachers’(and students’) dirty looks! As soon as the bell signaling the end of the grueling Science exam rang, we all cheered and made some noise! We had our English exam earlier in the morning and it was so easy! Let me tell you how did our last quarter exams go!

Religion- although not one of my favorite subjects, the exam was better than okay. I was fast in answering the multiple choice questions but the True or False part and the identification was a bit confusing. Overall, the test was average.
Social Science- everything’s easy except the Current Events part. And that’s the effect of not watching the evening news and reading the newspapers everyday! Advice to those who have Current Events on their exams: please make sure that you watch the daily news! Overall, average too.

The day after the Religion and Soc.Sci. exams, it was supposed to be Math and Filipino exams. But because of the transportation strike, classes were cancelled but we have to review! Did my simple reading and solving work out for the next day exams? Read on!

Math- if in my other exams the identification and True or False parts were the hard parts, these were the easiest to me. Just because the solution parts and quantitative analysis were nerve-wracking. But at least I remembered what I have studied and pulled off the exam! I hope I get a better grade in Math for the 4th Quarter.

Filipino- here we go again. Reverse for the nth time: the identification part was confusing.

Postnote for March 12: I and my busmates went to McDo during dismissal. We talked about how the exams went and our “spottings”!

And finally…….Science! Overall, average. Not hard and not easy. But at least I reviewed so many times to make sure everything’s correct. Then there came our SEG evaluation, then the (yawn) Turn-over Ceremonies, the signing of the clearances, and finally, saying temporary (and some permanent) bye-byes to our dear friends and classmates. To all the freshmen in my batch who would no longer return for Second Year, I wish you all GOOD LUCK!

That’s the good news. But yesterday I received bad news. About the Internet. You see, I am a member of Teentalk for 10 months and just last Thursday I was promoted to jellybean rank. Yippee! But yesterday, I checked out my recent posts to see what’s going on. Then I saw my karma: before it’s +3/-0. Unfortunately now, I got a -1! Gosh. I was so shocked and sad when I read about my boo. What did I do? But I respect the person who gave me that. It’s not that she hates me, maybe because she does not agree with one of my opinions. Or, I broke the House Rules! Haha. Don’t worry for me. All of us can be given a yay or a boo.

So better go! Message to myself: make the most of my vacation!

Cuddly smiles, Candice :)
