Agua who? I’ll tell you more later.
Last night after Lakan Cup and cheerdance practice I watched the USA vs. Russia match in the Winter Olympics. I was cheering for USA to win the match although Canada is my team. What could I say about it? Oshie’s the man. Malkin, you’re my second favorite hockey player but sorry I’m not rooting for Russia to win gold :(
Filthy, just filthy.
This week I finally found out how to draw vector faces like those custom-made minimalist movie posters going around the Internet. I may be a novice in Adobe Illustrator at this point, but at least there’s progress. Besides, practice makes perfect and it doesn’t hurt to do so.
Spoiler alert: I went out on a date thrice last Valentine’s Day with someone who makes my heart beat running away (cue Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass).
….aaaaand that’s with Green & White, my best buddies, and the Canadian Men’s Hockey Olympic Team. Lakan Cup with my beloved org, University Week Culminating night with the friends, and tried to stay up to watch Canada vs. Austria. Unfortunately for the third, I woke up at 3AM just as when the game was almost over. The good thing though, I was able to get some rest after a grueling week.
And on February 6, I had an advanced Valentine’s dinner with my old man at Yakimix in Robinsons Midtown before he returned to Singapore the following morning. One word to describe the eating experience there: SPECTACULAR! I really enjoyed cooking seafood and meat there just like our good old family dinners in Tong Yang.
Define a grueling week: an average of three to four hours of sleep as a result of finishing academic requirements, org work included. Speaking of org work, I just finished some stuff for the EB Race. It may have been difficult so far yet I believe I can fight to the finish.
On a random note, I got a reply from Penguins player Deryk Engelland’s parody account on Twitter after expressing my disbelief over the Pens’ shootout loss against the New York Rangers:
So I guess I should not wear black on Penguins game days anymore eh?
RADIPRO network simulation made my knees turn to jelly, but at least I was able to deliver my lines. PUBLISH was tiring. And this year’s LEAP? Monzie and I enjoyed Direk Raffy of Harlequin Theater Guild’s basic acting class.
Ladies and gentlemen, I have a new screen name: Agua Domingo. Thanks to Direk Raffy, I got the name from the dog owned by my grandparents from the father’s side and my middle name. If ever I do get in show business (which is very unlikely given my appeal compared to a Science book), I’d rather use my first name only.
Last but not the least, Lego the Movie was cool. However, it was cooler since I watched it together with my dad. And I have a long list of movies and TV shows to download: American Hustle, The Wolf of Wall Street, The Carrie Diaries, Frozen, and a whole lot more. Gah at schoolwork for preventing me to do this plus reading books. I swear to the moon and stars I’ll catch up this summer or any free time.
