Let It Enroll

I just enrolled in STC today. On the way to school the first thought that came to my mind was, “Who disappeared in our class?” which was always my biggest fear whenever I enroll for the incoming school year. It was also my Judgment Day: who among the 55 girls that I’ve bonded will no longer be my classmate and March 13, 2008 is my last time to see her? That was so sad, so teary. It’s hurting to know that some of the people who became part of your melodramatic life for 9 months will leave your school. But you’ve got the Friendsters, cell numbers, and the visits to see them. They’re simple ways to keep in touch even through distance.

My heart was pumping fast when I approached the school gates. Enrollment has gone smoothly: we paid the tuition, bought the school supplies, everything else. But what didn’t gone smoothly was the enrollment list. Since we are re-shuffled only every two years, I am still Section 2 and they’re still my classmates. I was hoping that my friends will still be my classmates and so my other peers. But it wasn’t as I expected. Out of 55, we are now down to 46. The said number is because although I’m still part of this great section, I was not listed in the enrollment list! But the lists were “tentative” meaning it’s the unofficial list of enrollees. The problem was solved: we informed about it to the registrar and now I’m #47!

I didn’t know what happened to my 8 missing classmates. Obviously one is already in Canada and no one in our batch retained her freshman year. It was sad to see that their names are not on the “tentative” list of students of Second Year Section Two. I know it’s temporary, some of them are just like what I experienced. So in the meantime our class is 47 and the number might change when we return to school new and improved in less than three weeks!!

About the bad news: my chain of nightmares might have happened. If you could read my previous post about my classmate who was transferred to Section 4 only because of her looks, this one was worse. She was one of the people not listed in the II-2 class. We don’t know what will happen next. Just stay tuned on the next chapter!
