Last week as a sophomore today. So sad to say about this since our class will be reshuffled this June. I’m making plans of creating a “scrapbook” filled of messages written by my classmates dedicating to me. I might make a speech as well, something emotional but not too tear-jerking.
Now on to my next topic. Just watched in cinemas the Jonas Brothers’ concert in 3D. I would have to say that I enjoyed watching the movie. Joe was an awesome singer, Nick was cute and talented (can you believe he can play the drums, guitar and piano?), and Kevin was sooo ANNOYING. While we were watching the concert, Nick and Joe were performing while Kevin was “popping” out in between. He’ll like show off to the fans and acting like he’s the only Jonas being watched. Mom was like annoyed when he danced horribly and so did I.
I really enjoyed WiFi at Starbucks in Robinsons Midtown with yummy Mocha Frap and Honey Glazed Doughnut while chatting with Dad. Since my laptop has a webcam, I took photos of myself. Gonna post these photos here soon. We were like chatting for about 90 minutes and he advised me not to use the Internet until Friday since it’s our Exam Week on the 10th, 11th (National Achievement Test), 12th and Friday the 13th. I was quite sad about this, but I guess it’s for my own good.
Something special happened today. Did you know that last year, I first caught a glimpse of Jake Gyllenhaal by watching Brokeback Mountain? *gush*. In fact, today is my 1st anniversary as a Gyllenhaalic. I’ll celebrate it by posting a recent pic loading of 100% infinite hottness! Credits to this site for the photo. (Don’t mind the site title, it’s a fansite dedicated to Jakey.)
It’s been six days and still I can’t get over Slumdog Millionaire. I really laughed at the part when a teenage Jamal pretended to be a tourist guide in Taj Mahal, calling it a “five-star hotel” and when he was young, he dived into some disgusting hole just to get an autograph of a famous Bollywood celebrity. But overall, the final scene was like….WOW! That was the time when I loved the movie.
Speaking of the guy who played Jamal in Slumdog, Dev Patel first began his acting career in the British TV drama Skins where he’s one of the main characters but not as popular as the others. He’s also a black belter in taekwondo and Slumdog is his first film. In many of the comments I’ve read from watching Dev interviews in YouTube, a lot have said he was like the least popular guy in Skins but was the one who achieved worldwide success. Many also said Dev is good-looking and he certainly is. In fact, some have said he looked like PBB ex-teen housemate Robi Domingo but I don’t think they look a lot similar except for their eyebrows. Compare and contrast, anyone?
I just learned how to color accent photos in Photoshop. Let me give you a Blair-accented photo:
Oh yes, wish me luck for my exams and the NAT. :))
