I didn’t like Saturday classes yesterday. Not being able to do well in our debate for English made me sulk. In fact, I hated it. SEG evaluation was just fine. But the rest of the day was quite boring.
Ever since I watched the Oscars ceremony last Monday, I became obsessed with watching Slumdog Millionaire. In fact, I and Mom bought the DVD over the weekend. This morning, I finally watched it…and loved it! I even replayed the movie twice. Speaking of Slumdog, I think I’ll watch this over and over again.
I don’t want to tomorrow to come. But wish me luck on my debate for Speech anyways.

Obsessed?

Bored. XD
Yesterday was Tito Charles’ 18th birthday! Yay for him. He’s a fully-grown man now. Haha….he’s too tall for his age (5'11", the same height as Dad) and still a computer addict. I was pissed off at him yesterday because he ate at KFC without telling me to come with him. Tito Charles even kept a tissue from the fastfood resto to prove he really did celebrate his birthday lunch there! Arrgh! But anyway, it’s his birthday naman. At least, he gave me a Double Dutch ice cream as a treat to his niece. Haha!

Two Weeks Before the End.
Ayoko na talagang mag-reshuffle. Alam ko we have to do that para i-widen ang circle of friends natin at matapos lahat ng pre-judgement natin sa mga first-time classmates natin. They all tried to forget my past. Thank goodness I was assigned to the section who made me happy during the first two years of high school.
I’m sure bibilis iyong series of events starting this week. Next week, final submission ng requirements namin. After that week, NSAT, exams, at farewell party namin. And that’s it. The end na nga…or so I think. Do you think I have to say everything to my friends and classmates before it’s too late? I guess so. Forgive all those who hurt me? Turn my last day into a storybook ending?
Help.

Facebook: Officially Overrated.
I was browsing this site from one of my contacts when I read her post about Facebook, probably the world’s #1 social networking website today. This photo proves the facts: in the list you see on the left, Facebook is #1 while the self-proclaimed “King Of Social Networking” MySpace ranks second.
It’s official: FB is totally overrated. For me, it’s overpraised by the critics and media-overhyped. Almost all websites on Earth are mentioning Facebook with the mere fact they’re slowly forgetting MySpace. For example, they’re talking about having their personal accounts. FB is always the mentioned website. In recent movies, it’s always the stars’ main place of their conversation (watch Disaster Movie if you want to see an example).
What’s special about Facebook anyway? They just have tons of good applications and safe. However, the constant media hype is killing it. You can’t even customize your profile with CSS. Your full name is shown. And why is it #1?
I’m curious.

Random Posting Again....
Over the weekend I’ve been watching funny wrestling videos on YouTube. Let me show you an example of WWE RAW Diva Jillian singing and dancing to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”. I was cracking to death as I watched the video since one of the Divas (the brunette one) danced while Jillian was singing. And gahd, her voice and dance moves are so horrible!!!

I Dream of Something Weird...What Does This Mean?
Just finished eating my breakfast steak (yum!). But the main part is what I’ve dreamt last night. What can I say? It’s plain horrible and I don’t know if this dream has a significant meaning. So here it goes:
I was wearing my purple Little Miss Giggles shirt and a new pair of white jeans. I was in my Lola Glo’s house with my dad there. I was listening to a song that doesn’t exist in my PSP while he was telling me to be ready because we’re going to watch a movie in SM San Lazaro. So while he went upstairs to dress up, he ordered me to arrange a couple of magazines in the dining table. I did and while arranging I saw a set of my class pictures from Grade 6 and 1st Year but not the real ones. When he was finished, I gave the photos to him.
But the next events you’ll read are the HORRIBLE parts of the dream. I just hope these doesn’t mean something. Let’s start with the ADHD part. In what I’ve dreamt last night, I was diagnosed with ADHD. I was in a party of this particular celebrity in which I’m not sure whose celebration was it. Lola Glo was there, holding a plastic bag, and she yelled at me obscene words which she’ll never do to me in real life. Then that celebrity went up the stage and admitted about the ADHD thing while I cried. Fast forward to the party, there was a couple, a thin woman and a flabby man. They were running in the green fields and below it was a very high cliff with a waterfall. The couple was laughing around while cracking jokes until the man fell and afterwards the woman, too. From that incident, a group of teenagers (probably their kids) went to the cliff where the couple fell. One by one, they dived into the rocks below including a little boy wearing a snorkel. It was a strange miracle to see the boy with a snorkel crying as he was lifted by a firefighter with blood flowing on the rocks, something I won’t dare to watch. From the view, a girl in white dress was about to jump off the cliff after seeing what happened. However, as she was about to dive herself, she magically flew into the sky with a pair of fairy wings and a beam of light.
In a dining table, a family was taking a candlelit dinner. I happened to be sitting near a girl who had a Samsung phone (what’s the connection of Samsung?). Then someone called her on the phone, telling her about the tragedy that happened to her family.
What really does this dream mean? Weird.

Happy Valentine's!
If for some of you think of Hearts Day as a celebration of your special love with your special someone, mine is different. If you guessed it, I don’t have a boyfriend yet. But for me, spending this special day with my friends and family is enough already. Not much to say about what happened today since my mom and I just went to the mall together. When I and dad were chatting this afternoon, we were talking about my plan with mom to watch the newest Richard and KC movie. Nah…not my type of movie. I won’t tell here in this blog what I said about the movie since there might be readers who have watched and loved it.
Yesterday’s Personnel’s Day was not what I expected. Instead of having tributes for each year level which we usually do in Grade School, we had a mass then a department-wide program. It was so sad to know that our principal gave us a 15-minute sermon on decorum which was primarily the reason why the planned 1-hour recess was cut short to just 45 minutes. Almost everyone complained about it, I think. I guess this is the first time our principal gave us a sermon…on the day for the teachers. Ouch.
No classes until Monday!! Yippee….maybe it’s time again to change my blog layout!

Bad Day...
Thinking lots of things today. First, tomorrow is Personnel’s Day, but there is something different from the celebration we had in Grade School from High School. If in GS we have year-level presentations for the personnel, now HS has a mass then a department-wide presentation. Sounds crappy, if you ask. In my opinion, I think it would have been better if each year level will have their own program for the teachers then all sections will be able to perform their special numbers. And here’s another crappy moment for tomorrow: there might be an hour-long recess (yay!), classes will resume after that! NO. Why do we need classes if all the teachers will have their day of relaxation? However, we are going to have a no-class day on Monday. *cheers*
I guess you already know what happened to Chris Brown and Rihanna, probably today’s hottest RNB sensations. There are blogs saying CB’s arrest would lead to the downfall of his career, since he was scheduled to perform for the Grammy Awards the night he was arrested. Not only that, Rihanna cancelled her performance, too. Hmmm….what do you think will happen next? According to some rumors from my classmates, Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend had some disease then passed it on to Chris…but I don’t know if I got the right rumor. I’ll try to research it some time soon.
Not really a good day for me…too personal for sharing. But anyways, I was thankful for having a fruitful day today. Haha. :))

What A Week!
This week could have been one of the most fun ever since the start of the school year. We were jam-packed with loads of activities: the Math and Science Olympiad Quiz Bee, our culminating activity for PALIHAN, and the concert that I wasn’t able to attend yesterday: Bandfest.
Speaking of the Math and Science Quiz Bee last Monday, we were asked to bring about 26 pieces of 1/8 crosswise for us to answer during the program proper. Oh come on, why do we need to answer those hard questions although we’re not contestants? Haha…the teachers say all of these are graded. While we were answering, we were seated by class number as expected, two lines per section. Since the questions were more than the average, we kept on asking on our seatmates how to solve a Math problem. If our answer is correct, we will cheer. Fine contest, overall.
PALIHAN last Thursday is definitely the best session to date. Although this is our last session before the school year ends, we were asked to put up booths to sell for the Grade School and High School students to buy during their lunchbreaks. Every section in our batch has a different theme; our section’s theme is fire. As for us, we put up booths for nail art, face painting, photo booth, and a wishing well except that you have to drop a lighted candle after you have said your wish. During the breaks, we weren’t able to eat lunch since we were busy attracting our customers. Me? I mingled around the other booths, such as a photo op with a batchmate dressing up as a snail (the picture isn’t uploaded yet as of now) and buying a plastic balloon. Oh yeah, I had a face paint too!
Bandfest. Probably the event you’ll never hesitate to join. I attended the event last year; however, I decided not to go this year. Too bad though, since one of my good friends will be performing as a dancer. But anyways, I wished her luck and apologized for being unable to watch the event when we met yesterday during our lunch break. I prepared my outfit pa naman, which I bought last Sunday.
Parent-Daughter Bonding on Monday. Half-day for us! :D

Forgot. :))
Actually, noong last year pa.
Everything I’m not. Ako naman, I might be the school’s nightmare: nerdy reputation and has a horrible past back in Grade School. I have my constant set of friends and acquaintances. However, iyong mga popular na iyan? Millions of friends in the other batches. Payakap-yakap pa at nagpapaka-FC. It hurts to see those people everyday.
Hindi lang iyon. Once you are part of the “it” girls, lagi kang may gimmick tuwing Friday. And here is the worst part: iyong mga good girls sa GS, sumasama ugali simula sumama sila sa mga “cool” girls na iyan. Whenever I see those people, two thoughts come into my mind: be popular and be bitchy.
Aaminin ko na there are times na gusto kong maging bad. Ito kasi iyong mga pros of getting your popularity/evil transformation (based on my observation):
1. Everyone will LOVE you.
2. Updated ka sa lahat ng tsismis.
4. Pagpasok mo sa classroom, everyone will say hello to you and tell the latest story about their boylets and everything interesting.
5. Everyone will think you’re hot and pretty. In other words, heartthrob ka.
6. Everyone PRAISES you.
7. Lagi kang may gimmick every Friday o Saturday.
8. You have SCHOOL POWER.
Wishlist ko ito sa high school. Except for the copying, of course. However, iniisip ko rin iyong disadvantages. Ito iyong listahan ko:
1. Magiging feeler ka: feeling maganda, feeling sikat, feeling loved.
2. Akala mo gusto ka ng buong klase pero sa totoo lang pinaguusapan na nila iyong kasamaan mo behind your back.
3. Once you do something stupid, everyone will talk about it.
4. Everyone will wish you haven’t changed from angelic to devillish.
I know all the popular people will hate me after I post this. But point ko ito. Everytime there are people who would enviously glare at me, iniisip ko ginaganoon ko iyong iba once I turn bad in my mirror universe. If some people underestimate me, then how I wish they could overestimate me. They’re gonna praise all that I am. Sobrang hurt talaga ako whenever I see those popular/bad girls. Walking merrily in the corridor, doing some dirty work. And everyone seems to enjoy it. But sometimes, pictures can lie. Akala mo sobrang saya sila but in reality you don’t know what’s going on. Ganoon din when you become bad. That’s why minsan ayoko maging ganoon. The answer? NO.
Seeing those girls make me sick. Some aren’t being themselves. Some are just trying to impress others but they can’t.
