First of all, I would like to greet all of you a Happy New Year! I know I should be in school right now but I have to take an absence because….you’ll learn the reason later by reading my first post of 2009! So let’s begin with the most memorable end of the year: the return of Dad for a 13-week vacation, from December 27 to today. It all began with this: it was around 6 in the morning when someone tapped me on my leg and there he was, my Dad! I hugged him tightly while he was saying I got chubbier (which was true). After that, we went to my grandmother’s house and there came full of surprises.
My cousins were there since yesterday. As I sat down in the living room, my dad gave me an optical mouse and a brand new set of speakers. Then when all of these things were given, I noticed he pulled out a small black leathercase which I thought was an organizer at first. But then, I saw that it was a pink ACER laptop with a built-in webcam! I thanked dad for this and I immediately explored its contents. In the afternoon, the whole family went to SM Mall of Asia and ate a super yummy dinner at the Dampa. Did you know that I ate more than 12 shrimps and lots of calamari while my little cousins bolted out the karaoke machine? We really had a fun time there.
Over the next few days, I and dad did the things that we haven’t done over the past 9 months. We did grocery-shopping at SM San Lazaro, which was one of the most memorable things that happened during his visit. Before he left this morning, he and his brother picked me up from school. They were supposed to meet my friends; however, he came to school so late that he didn’t have the chance to meet them since their fetchers have arrived already. My friends were actually eager to see him! When we arrived at home, I dressed at my best outfit and we picked up mom from her office to have a dinner at Fish & Co. in Greenbelt. Gosh, we had a blast there although the food was pricey. I took a lot of pictures there and will post it on FS and Multi sometime. Here are some of the pictures:
