I really had a fun Tuesday and Friday this week the presence of two special events: my 15th birthday and our class exposure trip to the fishermen’s village in Binangonan, Rizal. What makes the two events special? First, it is another year of happiness for me as I turn a year older. Second, the Binangonan trip would be the last time we will have an outdoor trip as a class since we will be reshuffled next school year. So here is what happened:
On my birthday, I didn’t go to school although there’s the English Festival being held there. My main reason is to celebrate this special day with my mom, so I went with her at the office where she works in Makati. I had a blast there: the annoying Internet connection which was on and off, slept in chilly temperature, camwhored with lots of pictures, and ate the yummiest lunch: KFC Chicken. After a long day, I and my mom went to SM San Lazaro to end my birthday with a dinner at Yellow Cab. To recapture the memories, I took photos. I’m going to post the pictures next time since the file upload here in Blogspot is sooooo slow.
Speaking of the exposure trip, it was a fun yet learning experience. We have seen what life in the fishermen’s village was like. It was simple, with lots of cooling trees and a beuatiful lakeside. When our group arrived in the lakeside of Laguna Lake, I was stunned to see how lovely it was. Clear and sparkly. The water is almost blue, the kind that rarely exists in rivers today. No fishes, though. In the house our group visited, we played around with the videoke! It was so fun, along with the kind family who gave us free sodas. When lunchtime was over, we went to the fish port where we stayed there for around 45 minutes. There was ice cream, but I didn’t buy one. We arrived back in school at around 3 pm.
