Short Post.

It’s midnight right now but still I’m Internet-surfing. It’s Friday, I mean Saturday.

I’m currently uploading some photos. And one ad irritated me right now: a promotional ad for ABS-CBN’s Tayong Dalawa, featuring Kimerald, my “favorite” loveteam. Now they have another ad for Close-up and Coke…I’m getting sick of them already. Like I said a million times, THEY’RE SO EVERYWHERE ALREADY. Obviously, I don’t watch their show because Kim and Gerald are there. BTW, I hate the new coke commercial because Kim is there….again. It’s like her 1000th commercial in three years.

Their Your Song series “My Only Hope” (never watched it also) finally ended. Never liked it anyway. I don’t know what will happen as 2009 ends. Will they shine or die out? I just hope some other celeb will take over them. Hello, there are a million celebs more good-looking and more talented than them. I don’t know why I rarely liked leads in TV series. First of all, they’re always featured although they’re not the most talented nor the most popular star in the set. Second, they bury the other main characters. See Tayong Dalawa? I can’t believe they’re the leads in the show. Supposedly, it’s a critically-acclaimed drama….but my “favorite” loveteam ruined everything. (Sorry fans, it’s my own perspective.)

Speaking of leads, if you read my Gossip Girl survey, I answered Blair Waldorf in almost all of the questions. She may not be the main star in the show but according to some presses and fans, Blair is the soul of the show. Honestly, I never liked Serena that much, but I have to admit that I’m getting sick of her trying to be the most popular star in the set. Can you believe she’s on the cover of Vogue? So unfair, in my opinion. Yes, Blake may be playing Serena as the main star but I think she’s getting too much attention. Give the other stars a chance.

It’s the main reason why I rarely liked “hot” loveteams (like Kimerald) and stars who aren’t at all talented nor pretty but always the center of media attention. Showbiz can be unfair sometimes. If I were to change everything there, I’ll give talent a chance to shine and balance it with looks.

Media-related post about getting sick of overhyped celebs? You bet. :D
