What Happened in 2008, Intrams, Candydoll Domination???

Right now, I’m thinking of the word CANDYDOLL DOMINATION.

I don’t know why. I was thinking of the PCD’s current album “Doll Domination” and that was it. I can’t talk loud as I have sore throat since Friday. Weather was cold, I shook when I go to sleep while the air almost freezed to me. Bad chance, I didn’t bring my jacket to school last Thursday. When we arrived back to school last Monday, we immediately started our annual PALARO (aka intramurals) which lasted for three days. Chess wasn’t my original choice of sport but since the slots for Suongan were full, I forced myself to go there. Guess what? I won the championships! Hehe….just kidding. My opponent was very patient; she was helping me while we were competing in the game. It turned out that she won. Later, we learned that our classmate won second place although our section didn’t expect it. As the 3-day intrams ended, our section won 4 games, all in second place. At least we did better than last year, bringing home only a runner-up in badminton.

I blogged awhile back last year about my disappointment in 2008, with all those social problems and academic competitions. But I guess I have to count all of my blessings and falls as I break down what happened the past year. Not all of them were bad, actually. So here they are:

I created this blog in February but officially made my first post on 3/14/08. 71 posts later…nearing 100 in its 1st b-day this March!
Dad came home from Singapore twice (March 21 and December 27) and we had a blast as a family!
I got my pink PSP Lite (originally Dad will give me an iPod Touch)
I learned how to cook my specialty: bacon rice in Star Margarine.
I learned to love watching wrestling again after their storylines turned from crappy to awesome
I became a Gossip Girl fan and currently idolizes Blair
I became an active Teentalker over the summer
Became a Gyllenhaalic (and still am! Can’t wait to see his next movie).
Saw Martin Del Rosario in STC during our Dance Pro (Gahd, hottness!)
Learned to use Adobe Photoshop
Got my first laptop (in pink!)
Our section lost Dance Pro….and it sucks. :(
Became a better photographer
I grew tired of watching Kapamilya and Kapuso shows
Auditioned for COC 9….but wasn’t accepted. :( (Better luck this September.)
Auditioned for Dulaang Pinoy….still was rejected. (Forget that stupid manananggal part.)
Year of the karma (someone mean got karma-ized this year)
Got injured with a swollen right knee during our Outbound
Had a yummy lunch with friends at KFC
Became a member of the school’s “Junior Librarian” group….and enjoys it until now

I guess that’s all for now. What’s in store for me this school year? Let’s see.
